An extract from the press release follows, and you can find out more online at blackbart.co.uk
The
band are releasing this in conjunction with Faustuss International, a
small independent record label in the South of England. They need as
much support as possible, so if you're able to get behind them in any
way, please do, from attending gigs, buying the album, introducing
friends or forcing people to join the facebook group under extreme
pressure.
PRESS RELEASE
Black
Bart are due to release their first album in early April 2010. Having
extensively performed the album's 12 songs in front of live audiences
for almost four years, fans of Black Bart will no doubt be familiar
with some of the choices, though several are performed here in fresh
arrangements for the ver y first time. From the tight country harmonies
of Broken Like A Mirror and the energetic, crowd-pleasing blues of I'm
Going To Jail, through to the explosive rock heard on Song for a
Friend, the album, recorded live in the studio, portrays a band who
thrive in that environment.
The
album will be available in MP3 format from iTunes, HMV.com and Play.com
as well as in physical form from all Black Bart shows and through
blackbart.co.uk
